Thorn took another pause to catch her breath. The cold air knipping at her red ears made it harder to concentrate. She had escaped from her village for a little me-time. Her father kept throwing sugggestions at her on who to date, given ninety-nine percent of those were Jon. Her feet where still warm, even though the fur on the boat was almost soaked through to the inside. She was wearing her normal clothes with a few acceptions. Instead of the tank top with skirt, she switched for a long sleeved purple tunic that was tied in the middle by a black leather strap. Underneath the purple was another tunic only orange. She was wearing fur covered boots and black leather pants. A fur coat/cape donned her shoulders, keeping her back completely warm.
She rubbed her arms lightly and wished she hadn't gone as far as she did. Looking forward, she noted that the plants stopped immeditatly where the rock and ice started. Anywhere higher then that point and it was suicide for humans. Thorn looked amongst the trees to find somewhere, opting for a slightly low hanging branch. Using her coat/cape she dusted off the snow for a place to sit, then hoisted herself up and made sure her cape was tucked underneath her. Keeping her bottom warm from the cold bark.
Sighing a puff of steam from her mouth she leaned against the trunk and tucked her feet to her chest. Wondering what it would be like to freeze to death, to be in Berk, to have a Dragon, to be allowed to marry when she was ready. The thoughts where growing and fighting for top spot in her mind. Almost as if there was a debeat of ideas going on they seemed to grow louder and harsher each time. Soon her head started to pound with pain.

Chibi for the most part had been laying in a hole dug out in the snow. Since he was pure white it gave him cover from being seen as well as also created a relaxing place to take a nap. For several hours he rested and slept like a little baby. Well that was until he herd something off in the distance, it sounded like a stick snapping or maybe a branch falling. So quickly he jerked his head up and looked up through the snow which was covering him. His eyes swept the area quickly until he found what he was looking for a small deer had walked just a few feet from him. With the sound of a rumble in his stomach he lept up out of his hole and in a flash he made his way through the snow and took down the small creature. He ate slowly leaving only fur and bone laying in the snow and some blood, then walked away. As he walked through the snow at times having to hop in order to make it through some of the large piles he perked his ears as his nose caught the smell of a human. Of course he was now used to the smell but he was also growing more and more curious of their kind with each day. Slowly he slalked towards the smell. His nose sniffing here and their making sure not to loose it. when he spotted her he tilted his head a little and walked a little more closer, his paws barely making an indent on the snow. Once he was close enough to feel safe and yet could still watch her he laid down and put his head on his paws in front of him, wide eyed and watching her carefully. Slowly after a few moment he inched his way a little closer, until he was only a foot or two away. still he blended with the snow so he was feeling rather safe but was not overly trying to remain hidden either. His curiosity was now getting the best of him, and he was starting to grow more and more comfortable with humans although he had yet to fully encounter one. After a few moments passed he pushed himself up and walked a little closer then sat down resembling a dog in many ways. His big eyes looking up at her, as he simply sat their staring at her.

"Enough already!" She shouted at herself, gripping her head as if the thoughts would pour out of her head and fill up the snow. She slipped down and glared at the sky. Her thoughts weren't going to leave until they got an answer. "I am NOT going to freeze to death, I will never live in Berk, I don't....like..." she paused squinting at two blue dots in the snow. They weren't there before, though as she peered harder at them she took them as eyes. After yeras and years of getting instincts to invade then kill, she knew that her first instinct should've been to grab her axe from where it was hanging and investigate before killing.However...that was not what her body had in mind.
She schreeched and wheeled away, climbing back onto the branch. Her fingers digging into her chest as if she could stop her racing heart. "What...the...hell..." she muttered with each loud pound of her heart. It was a dragon, she knew that much. No animal besides a dragon had strangley coloured eyes. Though she didn't know what kind of dragon it was. Not bothering reading the dragon species handbook when she was suppose to. It must've been in there, and not knowing about it meant she couldn't fight it. Did it have any shot limits? Did it take all your bones like the boneknapper? Her finger shook as she reached down for her axe.
"I don't want to hurt you..." she mummered to the eyes, though that murmmer was more of a shaking uncertain whisper as her fingers hooked around the wooden handle of her axe and started slipping it slowly out of its holder.

He stared at the girl and watched her every movement. He tilted his head a little to the side as she screeched and made her way up to higher ground, then his eyes turned a crimson red as she reached for her axe. It was not that he was scared or going to attack it just showed he was becoming more defensive. Which ment if need be he was ready to run his little but out of their. Although still he sat still in the snow his tail swaying back and forth as he watched her. He was not sure what she was doing and saw little reason to be scared.
sitting up he padded his way closer and then at full speed vanished from her sight. Withing mere seconds he sat just above her and looked down at her. His eyes now back to their original blue color. As he laid down on the small branch allowing it to bed down slightly and to make a soft cracking sound. So if she was to turn around she would stare him right in the face. Mostly he just wanted to be close and wanted to learn more. But also he wanted to see if it was true about some humans not trying to kill every dragon they see.
It was a hard thing to decide and some what scary also but from what he had seen the human where not a threat, yes they where smart and strong but it seemed they killed themselves now more then they killed his kind, So he was feeling relaxed for the most part at this time.

Thorn stared at the blues eyes, when they turned red she immeditatly lost balance startled. Her heart pounded faster as she saw the red eyes move closer. Not sure how big this dragon was. Then they were gone. Her fingers slipped from the axe but her senses were still on high alert. Slipping from the tree she pulled out her axe and looked around. "Little bugger," she whispered after a moment of not seeing it. Then plopped herself onto the ground.
It was better to lay down and be able to see the Dragon's figure if it emerged from the trees then to just be able to see its eyes in the dense white snow. She tucked her hands underneath her head and stared up at the sky. Her axe sitting arms length away from her straight up in case if fell, it wouldn't fall on her. "That was strange..." She murmmered and blink rapidly as a snowflake fell and melted just above her eyes.
It started to snow. Thorn reached up and tried to catch a snowflake, knowing that her mother said that snowflakes were tears that someone who loves you want to shed. While rain were tears someone who loved you cried. A tear slipped from her eye thinking about her mother. Knowing that this would be a moment that her mother would've wanted to see. Not the laying in the snow, but her deciding and getting married to a guy.

Chibi laid still on a branch just above the girl, his head rested on his paws as he looked down at her, he remained perfectly still until she stared up into the sky, and he saw her expresion as she did. Of course she could not see him right now, but something told him that she was either sad or confused. And that got him to wondering why she was way out here alone, when it was so cold. He had learned enough to know most humans stayed together and right now with the cold he would have thought to see even less of them. Slowly he crawled down the tree his claws allowing him to grip into the cold hard bark.
Walking around to her left he made his way close enough to her to where he could not be seen just yet. But could watch her more. Though soon he gave in and made his way closer to her. Walking right up to her he laid down and rested his head on her lap his eyes looking up at her. Still a little on edge his tail stopped moving and his body was tense. But he remained calm and laid against her.
although this would be a bad idea since he knew her kind was said to be easily scared he prepaired himself to be able to take off in a mere instant. But he also felt that she was worth giving himself away to and letting himself be seen for the first time. Plus simply he figured this to be the best way to learn more. And he was actually thinking she looked cold and lost, so wanted to help if he was able.

Thorn felt something put pressure on her lower leg, and her leg tensed at the added pressure. Trying to act as if she didn't notice it she extended her arm until it touched the wood of her axe. Though the touch made it fall just out of her reach. She sat up quickly and reached out, trying to grab her axe while trying to concentrate on the Dragon. Though once she saw that it was just a small one. Her fingers slowed down until they stopped a foot away from the axe.
"You are a small little bugger," she muttered staring that the small dragon before remembering hers lessons and wiped away the tear that was frozen to her cheek. Never let a dragon know your emotions. Honestly, she thought it looked way to innocent to hurt her. Plus she had worn body armor underneath her tunic today. So if it tried to bit her she wouldn't be injuried.
Gently she reached out towards it. "What are you doing all alone and up here?" Thorn asked it tilting her head to the side. From her lessons she thought that all Dragons except for the Monsterous Nightmares traveled in packs. Her eyes glanced around looking for another blue eyed dragon around, or a red eyed dragon like this one showed her.

Chibi relaxed his entire body and let himself stretch out to his full length. He watched her actions closely and almost ran when he saw her reach for her ax but didnt. When she stopped he looked up slightly and stared at her. He watched as she wiped her cheek and talked to him. when she spoke his tail swayed slightly in the snow, for some reason he enjoyed the sound of humans talking. It was strange because he understood some things while others left him clueless. Though he knew she would feel the same way if he where to talk to her. It simply would be just some odd noises and alot of confusion. Tilting his head he watched as she reached towards him and moved his head closer brushing it against her hand. He had to admit one thing about humans was that they where useful for getting to those places where he simply could not. Although he had not experienced them yet he knew this due to his time watching them. As he brushed his head against her he felt the chill in her hands and raised his head slightly, and glanced at her. He could tell she was cold but was not sure what he could do to help since he could not breath fire, or anything he simply was just like a oversized puppy who could run much faster. Moving a little closer he curled up beside her letting his body heat give her a little more warmth and he rested his head back down on her leg and shut his eyes, letting out a very soft purring like growl sound.

Thorn smiled softly as she felt the soft furry nose of the dragon. It was more like a puppy then a dragon. She watched as it curled up against her, feeling the slight warmth the small dragon emitted. "Are you cold too?" she whispered before adjusting her fur coat so it draped across the white dragon and her lap. "I still don't see why the people in Berk like those other dragons..." she said, this little one was furry and much more like a dog. The others where like those giant sharks that crash and destory the long boats.
Running her fingers through the dragons fur she glanced up at the snowing sky. "You're so lucky to be an animal and not a stupid human," she said sending a smirk towards the dragon. "What do they call you?" in hopes that the dragon would understand and somehow communicate. She didn't want to be rude and keep calling him 'the little white dragon'.

Chibi cuddled closer to her as she draped the coat over him, he was not cold infact he was rather warm. Since his kind was built for the cold he loved it. But also enjoyed being warm as well. He watched her and twitched his ears as she spoke. Picking up on what she said every so often. When she asked what he was called he looked up and gave a soft shrug. Where he came from they did not really go by names he sorda just knew when he was wanted. After his response he sat up and and stretched out. After a second he stood up and walked off from her lap and onto the snow. His white fur blending in with it perfectly. Stopping a short distance away he looked around then sat. With a paw he raised it and made marks in the snow gently and slowly.
It took him a moment but after a while of work he finished. And waited for her to come over. What it was was in the best of his ability a reply and question. showing he had no name or anything of the sort and as well was wondering why she was out here all alone. Once finished he laid back down in the snow and watched her waiting on some type of response hoping maybe she would be able to figure it out. Of course it would be hard since he was a dragon and could not spell or speak the human language. But still he wanted to put forth some effort.

Thorn smiled and stroked the small dragons fur as he cuddled closer. She watched him as she spoke to him, watching as his shoulders softly shruged. She blinked rapidly when he got up and walked away wondered if he was bored with sitting in the warmth. Though when he looked around before started pawing at the ground she stood up and glanced at the ground. Her eyes glanced over the darkened areas of the ground and pressed her mouth together in concenration. "So I'm guessing...that you don't have a name..." she said, using her guessing from early when he shrugged after she asked him what they called him.
Taking out a notepad she scribbled down the way the dragon spelt things before immeditatly attempting to translate it. She got two results. "So either you are telling me that you are wondering why are chickens golden brown, or why I'm out here alone," she said looking down at the dragon. Her eyebrow raised. "Hopefully it's the second one or I'm going to be questioning your conversation skills..." she teased and bent down rubbing her fingers down the dragons back.

Chibi sat looking up at her as she came over and started to speak after she wrote on a piece of paper. He gave her a smile and nodded to her when she said his question. When she started to pet him he arched his back slightly and made a purring sound. Then laid down and rolled around in the snow. Covering his soft fur in white powder. The cold snow turning to water as he stood back up, letting it drip down his fur. Still in a happy mood he stood up on his back legs so he was now Eye level with her. And licked her face then dropped back down.
He was by no means a normal dragon which was good. He was not super small like some kinds and not to big, yet still he was not as strong as some either. But still he did have his own abilities which made him unique. He was not so small as to where he could look like a puppy but more like the size of a very large wolf. even at some points he had been mistaken for one. Luckily his frost breath and ability to change core temperatures gave it away that he was a dragon. Turning away from the girl he walked away a little ways then stretched out laying his paws in front of himself and kneeling almost.
Once finished he looked up to the sky and unwrapped his wings from his body and shook them off letting snow fall from them, unluckily his wings where not used for flying and if they where he had no clue how to fly so they where useless to him. Turning around again he stared at Thorn and waited for her response about why she was out here all alone. That way maybe if she was lost he could help her get home.

Thorn stared happily at the dragon before laughing as he licked her cheek. "If you have nothing that you are named then I should make one up for you," she said bending down at hre knees before using her fur coat as a seat. "Freeze, Death, Itty, Cold, White, Clear, Chibi?" she questioned listing things off the top of her head, staring at the white bundle of fur as he extended his wings and looked up at the sky as if he was going to fly. When he didn't her eyebrow knotted together.
"Why aren't you flying?" she whispered quietly before standing up and walking over towards him and touching his wings. Pushing them down gently, wondering if he'd start to flap when she did that. "You wanna know why I'm out here don't you?"
"Well I suppose I should tell you. It may help get it off my mind..." she muttered before curling up in the fur cap and laying down beside Chibi. "I was training to be a better viking early, and at my break my dad was ribbing at me to choose a husband before the end of next week or I will be disgracing him. The man I want to marry, isn't the man my father will let me marry though. He wants me to marry Jon, a man that I don't even know. I want to marry a man named....well...Rolf," she said whispering to the dragon before running her hand through his fur.
"I suppose you have no idea what I'm talking about..."
