Crona was lost... again. It was a chilly winter morning, and the pink-haired boy had decided to go out for a walk. Everything looked dead and bare, because no snow had yet covered it, but at the same time, the leaves had all vanished in what seemed to be overnight. He shivered from the cold and sneezed loudly, remembering that he had forgotten to bring a coat of any kind. I'll die of a cold... he thought, frowning and continuing to walk straight ahead. In his logic, which wasn't very up-to-date, he could keep walking forward and would have soon circled the earth, then would be back at Manen. Crona knew that it was midday because of where the sun was in the sky. He knew that it was cold out. He knew that he needed to get home. Out of all the many things. Out of the many basic things he knew, he did not know that he was on Berk territory. Had he known this, the younger boy would have likely run as fast as he could away from there. He had no idea how to fight, other than swinging his sword around and hoping he hit something. He had no dragon, and feared them deeply. He had no way of defending himself against anyone or anything that came at him, and still, because of his lack of knowledge, he was most worried about the weather.

Elliot sighed, wrapping the bulky fur coat he was wearing more tightly around his shoulders. What was he doing out here, anyway? He wondered the thought to himself as he gazed out at the cold, winter horizon. Snow would likely start falling soon, leaving this as likely one of the last days to get a full color view of the isle. Maybe that's why he'd felt the need to come out here today, he decided to himself as he closed his sketchbook, a few new drawings of leafless trees enclosed inside.
What time was it? He glanced up at the sky. His parents had been busy lately, and they'd left before he'd even gotten up that morning, but it was likely they'd return to the shack soon. He figured he should probably return before they did.
Just as he was about to get up from the rock he was perched on, something else caught his eye. A younger boy with a pale pinkish hair and a worried expression seemed to be approaching from the distance as he looked back down. It was someone he didn't recognize. With Berk being relatively small, that was somewhat unusual, but at the same time, he didn't exactly get around that much, either. It wasn't impossible that it could be someone from the village, but at the same time the unfamiliar boy drew his interest. He somehow seemed slightly...lost, a slight shiver to his figure.
Pushing himself off the rock, Elliot slowly approached as the younger boy neared. "Who are you? Are you alright?" He asked simply, his voice quiet. He wasn't necessarily the most hostile nor the most outgoing sort, but it wouldn't felt weird to walk away from someone who seemed unfamiliar and who he worried may need help.

Crona was lost in his train of thoughts until he saw the stranger in front of him. He didn't recognize him, but he didn't think it was very odd, since most of the day he had spent his time locked in his room and he hardly knew what the Manen leader looked like. Who are you? Are you alright? the stranger asked. At first, Crona just quietly stared at him, not knowing if he should answer or not... but after only a few minutes. the pink-haired boy decided to reply. "My name is Crona..." he answered, slightly afraid of the other boy. He wondered why he bothered to ask him if he needed help... Crona wasn't used to seeing people help others, because he, himself, had never experienced something like that, so it intrigued him when others did this. "I am... lost..." the pink-haired boy added, looking around slowly for any familiar landmarks, but giving up after not finding anything, "Please, would you happen to know which way to go to reach the Manen Tribe camp?" That was a question Crona often asked, and one that got his beat around by his fellow "warriors-in-training". He was in his own little world most of the time, and was unaware of the battle that went on between Manen and Berk was worse than he imagined; and that was why he could ask anyone for directions... Had he known how bad things had become between the two tribes, he would never wondered away from his home, but in his head, the battle was merely two tribes competing for land with nothing bad like fights ever breaking out.

The younger boy didn't answer right away, just staring in his direction as there was a brief silence. Elliot blinked, just waiting. Being a bit of a recluse, he didn't really interact with strangers much, so the situation made him feel slightly awkward, the boy worried that he might have said something wrong. But eventually, though, the other boy gave his name. What he asked next caught the Berk villager off guard, though.
...Manen?" He repeated aloud. That was the new tribe. Despite not going out much, he'd heard plenty about it. They were enemies of his village, and known as dragon-haters. Most of the people in the village despised them, but Elliot couldn't quite bring himself to bring up any such patriotic feelings, especially not when he understood Manen's fear of dragons, himself.
He didn't know where it was, though. The man was silent for a moment, before shaking his head slightly. Knowing the tensions between the two villages, he never considered the possibility that this boy could be from there. After all, no one would just wander into an enemy village and ask direction on how to get to their own, right? "...Why are you going there?" He eventually added aloud simply, his voice as subdued as it usually was despite the slight hint of curiosity that'd sneaked in somehow.

Crona looked at Eliot, as he asked him why he was looking for Manen. "Well, it's my home, of course," the pink-haired boy answered, smiling a fail of a smile. He wondered why the boy had asked this, but out it out of his head. He wondered where this boy was from, and if he was lost, too. "What's your name?" Crona had finally gathered the courage to ask. It wasn't his greatest accomplishment, but he felt proud for doing it. Not knowing what to o while he waiting for an answer, he decided to hold out his hand to shake hands with the stranger. Perhaps this guy could be his friend... Crona had wondered if he would ever make friends, but now he felt better about making new ones. ((Sorry that it's so short))

The boy's answer to his question took Elliot slightly off guard. "Your home?" He repeated, blinking. Why would someone from there wander into their enemy's town? This boy seemed harmless, pushing away any initial wondering if he'd come to attack Berk...but it certainly wasn't a safe place for him to be lost in, particularly if he was going around asking villagers directions. It didn't bother him much, but he knew that some of the other villagers would attack someone from Manen without question, regardless of the visitor's intentions.
Eventually, he shook his head slightly. "...I'm afraid that I don't know the way to Manen, but this is Berk...you should be careful here." He advised, unfortunately not knowing the way back to the enemy tribe's village, himself.
The boy's next question equally took him off guard, though. Elliot blinked for a moment at the outstretch hand, as if not knowing how to react for a brief moment. Meeting strangers and making friends were two things that he didn't do often - he couldn't even remember the last time he'd given his name and shaken someone's hand. Nevertheless, he eventually smiled slightly, before returning the handshake. "Elliot Teague." He introduced simply. "...Yours?" He asked back after just a brief pause.

Crona looked down at first when the Elliot told him the he didn't know which way his home Tribe was. He feared that he might never find his home, and was scared of starving or freezing to death. Elliot told the pink-haired boy that he was on Berk territory, and warned him to be careful, but he couldn't understand why... They were rival tribes, but wouldn't they let someone go if they were lost? If only... Elliot Teague... Yours? Crona looked back up and tried to smile, tilting his head slightly to one side as he finally decided to reply, "It's nice to meet you, Elliot," he said, the answered the other boy's question, "My name is Crona Makenshi!" He looked around, and asked another question, "Do you..." he began, looking around before his blue-gaze went back to Elliot, "Do you... have a dragon?"

The other boy looked disappointed at first when Elliot told him that he didn't know the way back to his home village. His smile started to come back slightly as he returned the greeting, giving his name enthusiastically. Elliot smiled slightly again himself, as well. It really had been a long time since he'd met someone new. Despite not leaving his house much, he at least recognized every face in Berk. It was nice to see someone new, actually, he decided. Eventually, he nodded simply. "It's nice to meet you, too." He agreed, trying to remember what proper manners were - they weren't something taught much in Berk.
It was his turn to look down a bit, though, as the other boy, Crona, asked him another question. Dragons... They were what his village was known for now, and the source of the conflict between it and this boy's. But... His sister had been killed by dragons. He felt no attachment to them. Then again...it hadn't totally been the dragon's fault, he reminded himself, his gaze momentarily falling lower and more distant.
He quickly brought his eyes back up, though, not wanting to dampen the mood. Now wasn't the time to dwell on such memories. Eventually, he just shook his head. "Many people in my village do, but I don't myself...I'm not much of a warrior." He admitted, keeping his response simple. He didn't want to bring up his own fear of the creatures. He hesitated just a moment before continuing. "...Are you hungry? I could get you some food if you come back to the village, and someone there would probably know the way back. You might be able to see some dragons if you wish, too. But you'd have to be careful to not let on that you're from Manen..."
